CONFIDENCE IN YOUR BUSINESS

As August comes to a close and we lean into September, there's one word that's been on our minds at Community Co Create: confidence. As one of our founder's leans into launching her own business soon, we know full well what it feels like to have a moment where you wonder if you're doing the right thing, or going about it the right way!

That's why we wanted to share a few specific action steps with you around both your Content and Branding and how they can have a major impact on your biz confidence!

WHY CONTENT CONFIDENCE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

Abby, CONTENT DIRECTOR

In today’s digital world, if you’re not creating content, you’re invisible. Social media isn’t just a platform for fun anymore; it’s where businesses grow, brands are built, and opportunities are made. As an entrepreneur, you simply can’t afford to stay silent. Content creation is the key to establishing your presence, sharing your expertise, and connecting with your audience.

However, creating content can be daunting. You might worry that your ideas aren’t good enough or fear judgment from others. But here’s the truth: without the confidence to create, you’re holding back your business’s growth. Confidence in content creation is about trusting your voice, embracing imperfection, and understanding that everyone starts somewhere. The more you create, the more confident you’ll become, and the more your business will benefit.

Practical Steps to start creating now

  • Just Start with What You Have: Don’t wait for the perfect idea or the perfect moment. Pick a topic you know well, and start creating. Whether it’s a quick social media post, a short video, or a simple blog entry, just get it out there. The act of starting is the hardest part, but it’s also the most important.

  • Set a Time Limit: Give yourself 30 minutes to create something. Set a timer and dive in. This approach helps you avoid overthinking and forces you to focus on the essentials. When the time is up, share what you’ve made. Done is better than perfect.

  • Engage and Share Regularly: Consistency builds confidence. Aim to post something every day or every few days. The more you share, the more feedback you’ll get, and the easier it will become. Don’t worry about likes or comments at first; focus on building the habit.

  • Reflect on Progress, Not Perfection: After you’ve posted, take a moment to acknowledge that you’ve done it. Celebrate that small win. Each piece of content is a step forward, and over time, these steps add up to significant progress.

  • Leverage What Works: Notice what content resonates most with your audience and double down on it. This helps you refine your strategy and builds your confidence as you see positive responses to your work.

I know it's one thing for me to tell you to have confidence and another for you to know how and where to start. So I am sharing my Content Repurposing Toolkit with you for FREE.

YOUR BRAND VOICE

Cams- CONCEPT DIRECTOR

As a fellow female entrepreneur, I know the challenges of showing up confidently online, and the positive net effect good branding can have on that confidence. Have you ever met someone in person, spoken about your business (shaky voice and all!) and then hesitated to share your business card or your website with them, because you know it isn't "up to scratch?" Yeah. We've all been there.

When you have solid branding and backend systems all set up to welcome new potential clients, it changes how you speak about your business & offers in public. It's the difference between "I plan these little trips for ladies, yeah!" and "I run a international travel experience agency that curates intimate transformative trips for women" HUGE difference!

Here are 3 brand aspects you can focus on this week to immediately improve your brand confidence:

  • Identify your target online audience: You have to know who you're speaking to, otherwise... how are you selling them?! Your brand voice is a crucial part of how you communicate with your ideal client online & has a huge impact on how you show up both online & in person.

  • Define your brand values: What are the core principles that guide your business? Taking a moment to identify these will also help you stand out online & start making connections aka building a community

  • A brand guidebook: A brand guide will make it easier for you to consistently make content that connects with your audience. You know that feeling when you open Instagram and think... "what should I post?" Having this guide helps alleviate that feeling because no matter what, you are not starting from 0.

Have you ever hand any of these struggles around confidence in your business or have you moved completely past that? Hit reply and let us know, we'd love to hear from you about how you're feeling and how this season of your business is going.
